I am posting how the house model developed into the blue print style image.
I made few test renders to see what how the blue outline would show up on the house.

While figuring out how I would move the camera through out the house. I needed to figure
out how the text would show up once the camera reached a certain destination. The main function of the camera
moves was to take the viewer through out the first level of the home. While camera takes the viewer through the home,
I would explain different ways we could save energy inside our homes. Here are some of those images. When I showed my first presentation of the lettering placement to my teacher, the text was not placed correctly. So I made some adjustment. The text should now be title safe and easier to read. Moving forward I started to make some test renders of how the font would show up for the viewers to read.
The first experiment of font lettering just did not turn out great at all. Once I rendered it the animation you could barely
see or read the text. This immediately was a problem because I did the entire animation with this serif style type lettering.

A quick lesson to note to myself do not use Serif fonts for motion pieces. It is very hard to make out what is being said.
Here are two shots with the serif lettering that was a failure. ( Click on the images for a better view )

In the above image I placed the globe on top of some animating lines. I was going for the idea of a CFL bulb with the World sitting on top of it. As you can see the text was not readable at all.

Here is another example of some of a scene inside the house where serif font was not legible to read.

I figured if I couldn't read the font my teacher or my audience would not be able to as well.
Also the issue with font not being centered properly also was a challenge for me. But I saw how to fix the problem.

Below are some images with the corrections I made to the font lettering and placement of where the facts
will show up on the screen.
